Where It All Began
At Quinte’s Isle Campark, we’re proud to be a family-owned and operated campground, offering a warm, personal experience.
For over 40 years, families have come here to relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories—and we’re honoured to be part of those traditions.
It Began With A Dream...
It Began With A Dream...
Victor Ward envisioned a place where families could enjoy the outdoors together—a campground built on connection, community, and simple moments that turn into lifelong memories.
In 1983, Victor and Jennie Ward purchased 900 acres on Salmon Point Road in beautiful Prince Edward County, bringing that dream to life.
Just two years later, Victor sadly passed away at the age of 50. But his vision didn’t end there. Jennie, along with their three sons—Kevin, Steve, and Tim—carried on his dream, building the foundation of the park you see today.
Keeping The Dream Alive
Keeping The Dream Alive
Today, the next generation continues to grow and care for the park with the same passion and dedication. Steve and Tammy, along with their daughters Sam (and her husband Ryan) and Sydney, and Tim and Krista, along with their sons Alex (and his wife Kassidie) and Andrew (and his wife Jayden), are all actively involved in day-to-day life at the campground. From greeting guests to maintaining the grounds, our family is hands-on in every part of the experience—ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and right at home. You’ll also often spot Jennie around the park—she visits frequently and remains a familiar and cherished presence.
40 Years of Memories
40 Years of Memories
In 2023, we proudly celebrated 40 years of Quinte’s Isle Campark.
This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our staff, friends, and loyal guests—many of whom have been returning for generations.
We are truly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey and helped turn a dream into something so special.
